Mumbai Indians Squad Feedback – 2024 IPL

Now, some of you might argue that Mumbai Indians had reached the top 4 in the table, but it was far away from their normal performance and after Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, this team is the most consistent team in the world. Considering that, we expect them to reach not just the top 4 but reach the top 2 of the table. Which they have struggled in the last season. The players they would be looking for will be 3 all-rounders who can perform in place of retried Pollard and transferred people like Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya, whom they have not been able to find a replacement for till now.

Delhi Capitals –

This team is known to had bad performance since its inception, but they looked weak this time like never before. They were able to win only 5 matches out of 14 matches they played, but they never looked beating any team as most of the players were out of form and they had absolutely no replacement for them. They also need to look some fast bowlers as they had let of Kagiso Rabada and couple of all-rounders to support their middle order. If Rishabh Pant becomes fit, they might not need another explosive batter.

Punjab Kings –  

The team and the owners whom no one has been able to understand at all. They have been one of the topmost teams in one season and in the next season they have been totally out played. You can never be sure about this team. To be honest, they never have the top domestic players, and the seasons they had top domestic players the team has done very well indeed. So, they might need to focus on players who have done well in the domestic circuit as it will help them field 7 good players all the time and focus on the international players who can win them minimum of 4 matches in the tournament.

Kolkata Knight Riders –

The team did not do bad as much when you compare them to the last season. However, it might be time for them to look beyond Sunil Narine, Tim Southee and Umesh Yadav.  They have not been able to perform at the level where they should be further retained in the team, and even if they retain them, there should be a backup for these players if their performance is not up to the mark.

Sunrise Hyderabad:

The bottom rank team in the last years IPL and they must be hurting with this performance. And for them for sure time has come to look beyond Mayank Agarwal, Bhuvenshar Kumar, T Natrajan and Adil Rashid. They need to some bowlers who can make the impact in the first 6 overs plus hold the oppositions in the later part of the innings. Their overall batting looks solid but they might look to some more explosive domestic players.
