India Tour of South Africa 2023-24 – Squads (ODI  & T20Is) – Player Performance Prediction

India Tour of South Africa 2023-24 – Squads (ODI  & T20Is): Yesterday Indian selection committee announced the ODI squad for the upcoming South Africa Tour, the interesting part is there are 3 captains leading teams in 3 different formats of the sports. We don’t think, we have ever seen this earlier with the Indian cricket team, we think it happened only way back in the 2000s when the Indian cricket team used to have two captains MS Dhoni and Anil Kumble used to lead different formats. But now let’s see the squads and share our feedback on the players selected and the expected performance of the selected players.

 India Tour of South Africa 2023-24 – ODI Squad and Player Performance Prediction:

Let’s see the selected players first:

Ruturaj Gaikwad – He will score a lot of runs in the ODI series.

Sai Sudharsan – A very talented player and we expect him to excel both in batting and bowling.

Tilak Varma – He might struggle a bit, but we expect him to play an important role in the team.

Rajat Patidar – If he gets a chance to play, we don’t expect him to have any impact, rather he will struggle a lot in the series.

Rinku Singh – He will struggle a lot.

Shreyas Iyer – He will not be able to score a lot of runs.

KL Rahul (C)(wk) – Rahul will be one of the success stories of the series.

Sanju Samson (wk) – Time has come for Sanju to perform, and we really expect he is able to deliver as per his pedigree.

Axar Patel – We hope they don’t play him in the series.

Washington Sundar – If Sundar gets a chance, he will be to perform well.

Kuldeep Yadav– Kuldeep Yadav will be very difficult to play for the South African team.

Yuzvendra Chahal – Hopefully Chahal gets a chance to play, if he does, he will be one of the top performers.

Mukesh Kumar – Though he has limited ability but till now he has been using it well, but he is not a long-term investment for the Indian cricket team.

Avesh Khan – We don’t expect him to play in the series.

Arshdeep Singh – We really hope he does not play, if he does, he will be one of the worst performers of the Indian team.

Deepak Chahar – Finally time has come for Deepak to illuminate light for the Indian cricket team.

India Tour of South Africa 2023-24 – T20Is Squad and Player Performance Prediction:  

Yashasvi Jaiswal – He should be able to perform on top of his abilities.

Shubman Gill – He is the prince of Indian cricket team, he is the future of Indian cricket team.

Ruturaj Gaikwad – Again one of few players who have the perfect technique for conditions outside India.

Tilak Varma – He has a touch of Legendary Yuvraj Singh, and we expect him to play well if he able to control his horizontal shots.

Suryakumar Yadav (C) – He is a legend in this format, his performance will be as usual.

Rinku Singh – He will be a failure on this tour

Shreyas Iyer – Shreyas will also struggle on this tour.

Ishan Kishan (wk) – If he gets chance to play, he will be contributing to Indian cricket team positively.

Jitesh Sharma (wk)  – He will not get a chance to play in this series.

Ravindra Jadeja (VC)  – Though he will play in the series, but we don’t expect him play well in the seires.

Washington Sundar – He should absolutely play in the series and can be one of the important player in the series.

Ravi Bishnoi – He will struggle if he plays in the series.

Kuldeep Yadav – The year belongs to Kuldeep and he will one of the top performer in the series.

Arshdeep Singh – Total Failure.

Mohd. Siraj  – For Siraj this are the perfect conditions and he will be on the top of his game.

Mukesh Kumar – He will not get a chance to play in the series.

Deepak Chahar – If he is able to play at his 100 percent potential, he will be a very effective player with ball and bat both.
