For high-profile games slated for the summer of 2025, the venerable Lord’s Cricket Ground in London has announced major price rises. The third World Test Championship (WTC) final and a Test match versus India are among the significant events that Lord’s, commonly referred to as the “Home of Cricket,” will hold in 2025. The venue has, however, recently come under fire for its pricing policy, especially in light of the low attendance that occurred during the later stages of the matches against Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
The price increases for the Test match versus India are the most noticeable. Tickets will cost 90 euros for restricted view tickets and 175 euros for the best seats over the first three days of the event. Tickets for accessibility are priced at 120 euros. Given the pattern of early ends in recent Test matches, the fees for the fourth day have been lowered, with the lowest price being 50 euros and the highest price being 150 euros.
Adult tickets for the much awaited World Tour Championship final, which is set to start at the legendary stadium on June 11 with a reserve day, cost between 70 and 130 euros, while tickets for children under 16 are priced between 20 and 50 euros.

Lord’s manager, the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), has admitted that its pricing policy needs to be reviewed, particularly for the last days of Test matches.
With the way that Test cricket is now played, we will be closely examining the fourth-day ticket structure in our pricing revisions. Guy Lavender, chief secretary and executive of the MCC, had stated in a statement that “we priced U16 tickets at just £15 for weekend days of our Test matches from the outset and introduced a group discount for day four.”
To cater to younger fans, the MCC has introduced group discounts for the fourth day of the Test matches and is selling U16 tickets for 15 Euros for weekend days. Lavender did, however, discuss the difficulties of changing prices.
Lavender continued, “Thousands of supporters applied through our 2023 ballot process and paid the full price, so it is difficult to dynamically discount tickets in hindsight.”
