Instead of adding a third spinner, India has chosen to go with the same squad that won the Chennai Test in Kanpur.
Since the option to use a third spinner was not exercised on Friday, September 27, India has chosen to play the same playing XI from Chennai in the Kanpur Test. There was hope going into the second Test that an extra spinner would be utilized for the match in Kanpur, allowing Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, or Akash Deep to have a little rest. India, however, decided to play with the same side that had won the match at Chepauk.
Since Rohit thought the pitch at Green Park was a little soft, India decided to field first after winning the toss. The captain of India stated that they intended to gain ground quickly and that they expected the three seamen to maximize the circumstances. Moreover, Rohit stated that he anticipates Bangladesh to put up the same fight as they did in the Chennai Test, but he also expects his team to exhibit the same determination that won them the opening game.
Let’s start with some bowling. We want our three seamers to take advantage of the somewhat soft pitch since we need to get in early. Although we didn’t get off to a good start with the bat in the first game, we managed to score and the bowlers performed their jobs. I anticipate no difference in this fight from Bangladesh; we will face difficulties, but we are equipped to overcome them. Rohit said, “Same team.”
Two changes were made by Bangladesh; Taijul Islam and Khaled Ahmed were added, while Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed were removed from the team.
